Over the course of the next few weeks, so throughout March and into early
April, there won't be regular updates during that time and the site will be
updated as often as is humanly possible, but normal service is intended
to resume by mid-April.
DVDfever.co.uk reviewer Elly Roberts
reckons that while this album isn't 'easy' on first listening, it's a grower,
just like Damien Rice's latest release.
New DVDs and games out now and soon: Life and Lyrics on DVD...
First in this round-up this week is Life and Lyrics (£15.99, Universal), which is out this week
and it's a hip-Hop centred drama from the UK. As a posse of South London DJs battle their rivals to the
North, their leader Danny (So Solid Crew's Ashley Walters) falls for a beautiful singer from the
other crew.

Sonic takes a Wii with his latest rings adventure...
Out today is Sonic & The Secret Rings on the Nintendo Wii from Sega (£39.99).
Sonic the Hedgehog is going back to basics with a straight up 3D race game that ditches all the guns,
vehicles and hangers-on from the more recent games and concentrates on pure speed and platform action.
The blue speedster has come a long way since the Mega Drive days, a bit too far some would say - since
many of his more recent games bear little relation to his original platform antics. This looks a lot
more like the old games though (even though it's got a weird Arabian Nights back story) as you simply
move left and right with the Wii Remote and use the '2' button to jump.
You can also reverse up by tilting the remote and do a homing attack on enemies by lifting the controller
up vertically, but that and a slowly filling turbo boost bar is as complicated as things get. The graphics
though are anything but basic and some of the best yet seen on the Wii, with a great sense of speed that's
vital to any good Sonic game.
