Richard Ashcroft: Break The Night With Colour (Parlophone)
Ex-Verve front man Richard Ashcroft releases his debut single for Parlophone
on January 9 next year, to be followed by album Keys To The World on January
23. It's been recorded in London by Ashcroft and long time collaborator
Chris Potter.
This mid-paced and tight release highlights continues
Ashcroft's emphasis on delicate melodies and harmonies, and is his best to
date since the split from The Verve back in 1999. This has all the hallmarks
of a sure fire number one hit. Production by Potter is absolutely brilliant.
If this anything to go by,the album promises to be massive.
It'll make "A" playlists on all essential radio stations.
