Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins
is a very incredible game. It
is the prequal to its younger release, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. It
did so well, Activision had plans for a better one. Tenchu 2 has a
smarter CPU engine and better game design.
It puts you in the role of either Rikimaru or Ayame. Both are members of a secret Ninja clan, The Azuma Ninjas. You must save the Azuma Village and fight a evil ninja known as Sadu. He is part of a evil clan of vanquised ninjas. As you move on through the game you collect many items such as, throwing stars, caltrops, smoke bombs, etc. You also have the ability to design your own levels and place your own enemies and civilians. I thought of the Level Design better than the actual game. They did a awesome job on this game.
The features of this game are wonderful. The gameplay is evolved a lot from a free roam beat-em-up, and it was a lot better than Tenchu. When playing, you move smoothly and it is easy to manuver around to kill the enemies. The sound is very clear and sharp. If you are a fan of Samauria and Ninja stuff you will find the music very well fitt for the game. The graphics are another thing. Yes they did improve from the original Tenchu, but i felt that Activision could've done better. Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins is an overall "Tight Ass" Game!
